The main aims of the stakeholder workshop were to discuss strengths and weaknesses of past and current evaluations of environmental impacts of rural development measures and programmes in the EU and to identify key stakeholder requirements for future evaluation methods. The workshop was attended by evaluators, government representatives and the EENRD Helpdesk. The workshop included review sessions on the strengths and weaknesses of indicators and evaluation methods used in past RDP evaluations and a session on stakeholder expectations of future evaluation methods. Based on the outcome of these sessions, key challenges for future evaluation methods and priorities for the public good case studies in the ENVIEVAL project were discussed in break-out groups. The workshop summary report and the workshop presentations will be added to the dissemination platform shortly.
